1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that kayaking involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: drowning, collisions, capsizing, hypothermia, and injury from natural elements or wildlife. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with this activity.
2. Safety Responsibility: I will wear the provided U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while on the water. I will not kayak under the influence of alcohol or drugs. I agree to follow all instructions given by Inspire Kayak Rentals and act responsibly. I confirm I am physically able and know how to swim.
3. Equipment Responsibility: I agree to return the kayak and all provided equipment (life jacket, paddle) in good condition. I will be liable for damaged or lost equipment.
4. Release of Liability: I release Inspire Kayak Rentals, its owners, staff, and volunteers from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from participation, including injuries, death, or property loss, even if caused by negligence.
5. Children & Minors: Parents or legal guardians must supervise children under 18 at all times. Children must wear life jackets and remain seated unless instructed.
6. Weather & Cancellations: Inspire Kayak Rentals may cancel or delay rentals due to unsafe weather. Refunds or rescheduling options may be offered at our discretion.
